Alex Engelland, PharmD, is a native of Salina. Alex’s passion to serve and ‘To provide expert knowledge to patients and providers regarding medicines and their utilization’ inspired him to take up a career as a Pharmacist. Alex’s education can be credited to Salina South High School, Friends University, and The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy.

Alex joined the Salina Family team in early 2021. He is excited to be practicing in his hometown, caring for fellow Kansans. Alex’s favorite thing about being a Pharmacist is ‘empowering patients to get more involved in their treatment plans’ as well as sharing pharmacy knowledge with providers.

When Alex isn’t working, he enjoys computer gaming, flight simulators, model planes and tanks, golf, and board games. Be sure to quiz him on random trivia knowledge next time you visit the Pharmacy. He hopes to someday be a contestant on Jeopardy!
